The Point, James Watt Dock Greenock

The closest watering hole to James Watt Dock Marina, The Point offers good food in a relaxed setting with the added benefit of great views of James Watt Dock and the Clyde across to Helensburgh.

Whilst it’s relatively straightforward to walk round to The Point from the marina it is also possible to moor against the harbor wall and use the steps up to the restaurant. Alternatively, why not book and head over in the tender!

Knockderry Country House Hotel, Loch Long

Knockderry House Hotel is a 4 star family owned hotel situated on the banks of Loch Long. There are a number of moorings for visiting yachts and it’s a short row ashore to the shingle beach. . Royal Northern & Clyde Yacht Club, Rhu

The main Clubroom is multi-functional with a bar area and casual dining tables and lounge area with settees around the fire. Daily lunches (except Mondays) and Friday Gastro Pub evening meals are supplemented by occasional Saturday Fine Dining, a monthly Sunday carvery, weekly sailing suppers during the season and the very popular buffet hot meals accompanying many of the social events throughout the year.

Royal Gourock Yacht Club, Gourock

Located in close proximity to James Watt Dock Marina, RGYC makes an ideal stopping point whether heading out or returning from your boating adventure. The Club operate a number of moorings and have a launch service on hand (10.00 to 22:00 during the Summer) to ferry visiting yachtsmen ashore. The club have a restaurant offering light meals, lunch and dinner overlooking the bay.

Colintraive Hotel, Kyles of Bute - 6 moorings

Lodge style hotel, formerly a hunting lodge for the Marquis of Bute, the hotel dates back to the 1850's and retains much of its original character. The hotel is located near the shores of the Kyles of Bute and has magnificent views over to the Island of Bute. Bar meals and a la carte menu available.
